Privacy notice

Durango Chamber DIY Marketing is operated by Animas Marketing. This notice explains, in plain language, what information the course collects, why, and what we do with it. We have tried to keep it short and specific rather than long and vague.

What we collect

• Your account details. The name, email address, business name, and (optionally) website you give us when you sign up.
• Your course progress. Which lessons and steps you have completed, the points and badges you have earned, and when you were last active.
• What you connect. If you choose to connect Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or your website, we store the connection and read the specific measurements the lessons check.
• Basic technical information. Standard request data such as your IP address and browser type, used to keep the service secure and working.

Why we collect it

To create and secure your account, to show you the right next lesson, to verify the tasks a lesson asks you to do, and to support you when you ask for help. That is the whole list.

Connecting Google

Connecting Google is optional and can be disconnected at any time from My Business. When connected, we read only what a lesson needs to check your progress — we never post, change, or delete anything in your Google account.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not share your course progress with other businesses.
• We do not use your business data to train advertising profiles.

Who can see your information

Your account and progress are visible to you and to Animas Marketing staff supporting the program. Service providers who host and run the software (for example our hosting and email providers) process data on our behalf under contract. In partnership with the Durango Chamber of Commerce.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and support records. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal details and disconnect any connected accounts.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email support@animasmarketing.com and we will take care of it.

Changes to this notice

If we change how the course handles information in a meaningful way, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
