Every lesson is worth points, earned once when you finish it.
Each lesson shows how many points it is worth. You earn them once, when the lesson is complete — ticking individual steps saves your place but does not add points on its own.
Bigger, more valuable tasks are worth more points. Fixing completed work that has drifted earns a smaller bonus (about a quarter of the lesson's points) as maintenance points.
Points add up across every course and move you up through the stages.
