What to try when an automatic check does not pass.
- Make sure every step is ticked — the check button only works once the whole checklist is done.
- Check your connections — automatic checks need your website added and/or Google connected on My Business.
- Give it time — changes on Google (a new listing, a verified site, new photos) can take a few hours to a few days to appear. Try the check again later; the app also re-checks in the background about once a day.
- Read the message under the button — it says what the check found, which usually points to the step that needs another look.
